Walk-In Care at WMCHC
With convenient daytime, evening, and weekend hours and no appointment policy, our team provides timely care, especially when an emergency department visit isn’t warranted and your primary care or pediatric office isn’t available.
PLEASE NOTE: all WMCHC Walk-in Care sites accept the last patient 30 minutes before closing. Hours may vary due to holidays, weather conditions or patient volumes.
Our walk-in care physicians and advanced care providers treat children and adults. The centers are equipped to treat non-life-threatening conditions such as colds, flu, sprains, minor burns, lacerations, allergic reactions and more.
We offer affordable, accessible care by accepting most major insurances, managed care plans and Medical Assistance. We also offer a sliding fee scale for those who qualify based on income.
Insurance Plans
Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) accepts most major insurances, managed care plans as well as PA Medicaid and Medicaid Advantage plans in our geographical region. Patients should always verify with their insurance that WMCHC is in-network for their specific plan. We also offer a sliding fee scale for those who qualify based on income. Walk-in care is a good option for minor issues when your primary care provider is not available. If you are experiencing life-threatening symptoms, go to the nearest Emergency Department or call 911 immediately.
