About the Provider
As the Medical Director and a Consulting Psychiatrist for the Integration of Care (IOC) program at Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers (WMCHC) Tuhin Gupta, MD, provides expert advice, supervision, diagnostic assessments and short-term treatment by working closely with a patient’s primary care provider. Studies have shown the IOC model leads to improvement in overall health and quality of life measures.
Concerns addressed include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, and the emotional impact of chronic illness. Whether someone is navigating a new diagnosis or simply feeling overwhelmed, the IOC team offers support within the same practice already trusted for medical care.
