About the Provider
Shawn Armstrong, LPC, is an embedded behavioral health therapist and a member of the Integrated Behavioral Health team of Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers. He collaborates with primary care providers in offering whole person care by supporting patient’s mental health and the impact their emotional wellbeing has on their physical health.
Shawn offers short-term, goal-oriented counseling for individuals across the lifespan—from pediatric through geriatric populations. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Anger Management Specialist. He is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.
Concerns addressed include anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, life transitions, and the emotional impact of chronic illness.
