Healthy Horizons Pediatric Weight Management Program
Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers pediatric weight management program, Healthy Horizons is led by Board-certified Pediatrician Debra Georgetti, MD, who brings decades of experience including a successful weight management program at a prior medical practice. All appointments are held at the WMCHC’s Sterling Pediatric Center located at 62 Industrial Park Road in Lake Ariel, PA
Healthy Horizons, provides personalized, evidence-based, family centered-care for children and teens age 6 to 18 years old.
When a child or teen struggles with weight, families need support beyond a number on the scale.
Our program combines
- Evaluation and treatment by a board-certified pediatrician
- Behavior – changes designed for children and families
- Nutrition, activity and mental health support
- Visits covered by most insurance
- Weight loss medication (when medically indicated) as a possible option in a comprehensive treatment plan
